School meal prices will rise across all the schools in the Trust from September 2026 due to the increased catering costs being caused by high fuel and food costs:-

• Reception to Year 2: Free through Universal Infant Free School Meals Scheme
• Year 3 to Year 6: £2.90 each day
• Nursery: £2.60 each day

Remember: More families can now get free meals. Meals should be ordered in advance using the Arbor app. Please note that any children whose meals have not pre-ordered will be allocated the Menu 1 or Menu 2 choice (depending on their dietary requirements) and will not be able to choose at the counter. If you are unsure how to use the booking system, please come to the school office to request some support. Meal bookings close 3 days before so meals for Monday will need to be ordered by the previous Friday.   

All of our lunches are homemade on the premises using fresh, quality ingredients. We aim to give a varied menu, with different vegetable, carbohydrate and protein choices, to give your child a healthy balanced weekly diet.  All of our meat is Halal except for our pork products. Please encourage your child to choose a variety of menu choices to give them a balanced weekly diet.  We actively encourage children to taste new foods.

• Your child only needs to choose the main meal from the 5 options available. Jacket potato and sandwich options are available daily. 
• Your child will also be able to have vegetables or choose from the Salad Bar 
• Fresh bread is available daily
• Milk available daily
• Yoghurt and fresh fruit is available every day as an alternative to our home-made dessert.

Look out for our Special Menus for themed days: Bonfire Night, Chinese New Year etc. they are great fun for the children.

Universal Infant Free School Meals entitlement is different to 'benefits' related entitlement.  The school receives additional funding  for each benefits-related entitled Pupil - these families are also entitled to a reduction in cost on some school trips and visits.  If you think your child might be entitled to benefits related Free School Meals, no matter what year group they are in, then you can apply to see if they are eligible here.
