In August 2024 we were extremely lucky to have a huge investment made into our outdoor area. The full Early Years playground was developed including new climbing equipment and road way, a built in stage, climbing blocks and a water wall. Our children spend time outside everyday, rain or shine! The outdoor area is planned to develop skills on a larger scale than can be achieved indoors, allowing children the space to run, jump, climb, shout, dance, build and explore. Outdoor learning allows lots of oppurtunities for team work, collaboration, cause and effect exploration and messy play too. Children are given chance to both lead thier own learning and take part in adult directed tasks too.
